The Face Shop Mini Pet Perfume Hand Cream Set

Three cuteness in one pretty box. Who can resist that? Look at that bear and kitties!

This three in one set contains super cute hand cream in animal shaped packaging. The cute blue bear is baby powder scented, red kitty is fruity and pink gilry kitty is floral. There's actually 4 in the set, the missing one is pink girly bear that contains sweet candy fragrance.

I am so loving seeing these babies lined up on my desk. So cute!

The cuties contains shea butter and argan oil to moisturize your hands. The cream is light glossy cream that's easily absorbed. It is moisturizing but not sticky. I love to apply these after washing my hands.

Bottomline,
Lovely addition on my desk or my friend's desk too! I dont think the cream is fantastic enough for me to repurchase the same variant, but I will purchase if The Face Shop releases new animals.

Etude House Missing U Hand Cream #1 Harp Seal

Missing U is series of hand cream packaged is ultra-cute tubs from Korean brand, Etude House. Missing U series also offers lip balms in tins. Each type/fragrance features one endangered species: harp seal, pink dolphin, penguin & panda. I got Harp Seal.

(picture from etude.co.kr)

So, that's pink dolphin, panda, harp seal and penguin from top-clockwise.

The box is environmental friendly made of recycled paper and soy ink. The cream contains herbs, shea butter and olives to moisturize & soothe abused hands… one more thing, it only contains 30mL of products.

The cream is glossy and feels refreshing when applied. It has light lavender-flowery fragrance, which I enjoyed a lot. Easily absorbed & doesn’t feel siliconey. It doesn’t feel filmy after hand washing too.

However, it is not so moisturizing. My hands feel lightly moisturized and comfortable after application, but it doesn’t help as much as body butters (like The Body Shop body butter does).

Bottomline,
Cream is of okay quality; however I am going to repurchase this just because I like the packaging so much. The seal looks lonely standing by itself on my desk… haha…

Things I Finished This Month...

Things I finished this month…
For me and my hoarding instinct, it is very difficult to finish cosmetics. I rarely, if ever, finished even a tub of lipstick or hit the pan on eye shadows. Yet I keep buying for more… look at that pretty color! What a cute packaging! Fabulous formula! Or simply, I think I need a back up blue-pink with little pearly shimmer gloss… haha…
This month, I finished…

Stila Lip Glaze in apricot 08
Yeah! A gloss finished! I know why I manage finish this one… this is my resident in-office gloss. The one and only gloss on the table. Apricot is sheer peachy-apricot with just a hint of shimmer. It doesn’t contribute any color when worn alone or on top of lippie. The finish is super glossy, yet the shimmer is not noticeable when worn. I find the formula to be a little thick, but not as thick as some MAC lipglasses I owned. In the beginning I love the click pen packaging, but come to hate it. Too much product this time. Now too little product! I really have to learn how to control the click pen.
Sample Sized Skin 79 BB Diamond The Prestige Beblesh Balm

I got this one in a box set of four. Been hearing a lot about Skin 79 BB Creams, but I dont think I want to commit to a full bottle, hence the set. As usual, BB creams has lots of claims: whitening, erasing fine lines, hydrating, protecting against environmental aggressors… and the list goes on. This one is okay, doesn’t address my problem (oily T zone), but I like the coverage just fine. It gives me natural look. But I wont repurchase or commit to a full sized product…

Biore make up remover oil
I forgot what is the exact name of this Biore make up cleanser oil. This was one of my first tries of oil cleansers. Good enough for light make up cleansing. It takes a little massaging and effort to remove my favorite MAC liquidlast. As I have found and tried quite a few other brands, this is no longer a favorite. I used it when I am having lazy days make up (bb cream, blush, eye liner). Easy to use, but wont repurchase

Crabtree & Evelyn Nantucket Briar Hand Therapy
Again, I got this one as part of a hand therapy set. I finished the other tubs. The main difference in Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy range is just the fragrance. I don’t see difference in texture or ‘feeling’ when used this one or Rose or Summer Hill or other fragranced Hand Therapy. The cream is thick and creamy, gets absorbed easily. However, it does feel a little siliconey (it does list silicone products in the ingredient list). After washing/rinsing my hand, I do feel like there’s a layer of something on my hand. Which make me decide not to repurchase, even though I like Summer Hill fragrance so much…

Tony Moly Peach Anti Aging Hand Cream

Ah...part of my fruit shaped stash! Honestly, got this just because I havent got nice peach in my stash! The cream is thick and creamy, yet get absorbed easily. frangranced like peaches of course. I like the way the cream moisturizes my hands without leaving my skin feels like there's a film on top of it. Strange thing though, the cream starts creamy and easily absorbed, but as i approached the bottom, i strongly feel the cream is getting more dense and harder to absorb... it even pills (forms soft balls) on the last day i used it...definitely not gonna repurchase this!

Kose Cosmenience Happy Bath Day Precious Rose Rose Enrich Hand Cream

Woohoo… one my favorite line from Kose: Happy Bath Day! This time, I got their hand cream.
(picture from adambeauty.com)

I wont sing more praises on its cute pink, rosey packaging… lets see the product! The cream is thick and glossy. Gets absorbed easily. And … doesn’t make me feel like there’s a layer of film after I rinsed my hand with water! Lovely!
Of course, it is scented with Happy Bath Day fragrance- cheerful fruity rose. Definitely repurchase! too bad it comes is tiny 40g sized tube.
I got mine from adambeauty.com

Sexy Look x Hello Kitty Fruity Rose Fragrance

I saw her bow and whisker… and I grabbed her with me. Yes, Hello Kitty creams and stuff never failed to tempt me. This time, Hello Kitty is collaborating with Sexy Look, a Taiwanese brand of skincare & cosmetics.
From the size of the tub, seems like this pretty beige tube is hand cream, however, I am using it for pretty much everything. The white thick creamy lotion is easily absorbed and makes my after-bath skin feel comfortable and well moisturized.
As the tub says, the fragrance is sweet fruity rose. Somehow there’s a tinge of artificial-ness in the scent. But that doesn’t really bother me, as the cream is not too heavily fragranced. It kinda reminds me of Kose Heavenly Rose hand cream scent.
Bottomline…
Grab this cream if you happen to see it in your nearest store! The cute factor is just too tempting! But to actually get it via internet, shipped it etc..too much hassle.
I got mine from 7-11 convenience store in Taiwan.

Kose Cosmeport Rose of Heaven Hand Cream

I have been a fan of most products from rose themed Kose’s Happy Bath Days brand. The Japanese giant always manages to make cute pink rosey packaging and on some products, the fragrance is simply nice.

Rose of Heaven is another brand from Kose Cosmeport. The brand includes various toiletries, including this hand cream. It says ‘fragrant rose honey and rich organic moisture soothe your heart and skin’. Let’s see if it is up to the promises…

I totally love the texture of his hand cream. It does not feel sticky. It doesn’t feel like you’ve washed off a layer of something after rinsing your hand with water. And, I washed my hands a lot. So… this is really important for me. The cream is consistency is somewhere between your regular light lotion and heavy hand cream (like Crabtree & Evelyn’s). My hands feel instantly moisturized and comfortable.

The bad thing is the fragrance… it smeels like funny rose. Not green-rose, fresh-rose or even grandma style rose… just funny. It might be the honey fragrance they put in. luckily, the fragrance is not that strong, that I still like it enough to grab and use it from time to time when I’m in my desk.

Overall…if you can stand the fragrance and you are patient enough to wait for your parcel to come (I got mine from adambeauty.com), this is a good buy.
