This is my second time swatching Dolly Wink’s palette. The colors they offer in the palette are cute, I must admit. Even though I don’t fancy their cream eyeshadow (review and swatch here) and the Blue Orange Palette (swatch here), I just want to swatch and see if this one suits me. Japanese products are just so good inviting me to try and most probably buy their products...
This picture is scanned from Dolly Wink Promo booklet.
The Eye shadow palette comes with a small booklet containing more kawaii promo pictures of Tsubasa herself. Too bad I didn’t end up purchasing this item, so I cant scan it for you to see... But...I do have the swatch...
As with the Blue Orange Palette, Green Pink applies sheer as well. I prefer my shadows more pigmented, and if they are sheer I like them sparkly or at least shimmering. That’s why I don’t end up hauling this palette too...
The ivory is very very sheer but with pale gold shimmer and teeny glitter chunks. The last one (black) is ...well... black, also with tiny chunks of silver glitter. No worries, the glitter is not so overwhelming, the amount is, I believe, still office appropriate. The green and fuchsia-pink are sheer with satin finish. I find the green more sheer than the fuchsia-pink.
In Summary...
Packaging: kawaiiiii
Color offerings: 4 palettes, one neutral browns and the other 3 mix of neutrals and poppy colors
Price: SGD 32.9
Is it worth it?
Yes if... you love kawaii packaging and Tsubasa sooo much, you like the poppy green and fuchsia
No if... you prefer your shadows shimmery or more natural

Dolly Wink Eye Shadow Palette in Blue Orange 03
After swatching Dolly Wink’s Cream Eye Shadow (swatch here:), I just have to swatch this powder shadow palette too! The colors are just to poppy to ignore. And of course, the kawaii factor of Tsubasa and the packaging just makes this Japanese drugstore brand sooo hard to ignore.... See what I mean...
That was the scan of promo booklet... so cute!
Now the swatch...
Even though the palette looks strong , these are very sheer and will not give too much poppy color when applied.
The ivory gives slightly pearl finish, but the orange, teal and black are light matte. The texture was just okay, not so extraordinary.

Dolly Wink Cream Eye Shadow in Gold 01 and Crystal 02
Few days back I saw Dolly Wink line, and I was pretty interested in their cream eye shadow. This Japanese brand bring such pretty promo pictures of the model (and creator?) Tsubasa Masuwaka.
And so today, I went back the shop and consider Cream Eye Shadow in Gold and Crystal again.
Too bad the promo booklet was in Japanese and I don’t understand any of it... (these scans are from the promo booklet)
Now the swatch!
Both Gold and Crystal do not have any pigment per se. But each does pack lots and lots of chunky glitters. Gold 01 is made of various sized pale golden glitter. While Crystal 02 brings you mix of silver and rainbow colored glitter chunks in various sizes.
The texture is not creamy...more like soft jelly which turns to powder when applied. And let me warn you... the glitter chunks transfer easily. I didn’t prime my skin before swatching, but this is waaay too messy for my liking.
And finally, I decided, there is such thing as too much glitter in my eye shadow dictionary... These babies, at SGD 19.9 per piece...are a little expensive for my current budget. Aso I left the cute cream eye shadows in the pretty promo rack before rushing to the cashier to pay my other hauls...
In summary...
Packaging: kawaii plastic palette
Color offering: 2: Gold and Crystal
Price: SGD 19.9
Is it worth it?
Yes if... you need more rainbow colored or pale gold colored glitter in your life, you love the kawaii packaging, you adore Tsubasa very very much and willing to fork out SGD 19.9
No if... you don’t fancy your glitter transferring everywhere, you want more sensibly priced eye shadow, you prefer more demure powder eyeshadow

Majolica Majorca Sugary Trap & Dolly Wink
Lookie lookie...
Majolica Majorca’s new chapter is in my local Watson’s! Majolica Majorca is one of my favourite Japanese drugstore brand. New from Sugary Trap chapter is 4 blushes (even though I only saw Peach Macaroon, Strawberry Macaroon and Apricot Macaroon), Limited edition powder case, cream pencil liners with 2 new colors, Brown lash expander frame plus mascara, and 2 new palettes Jewelling Eyes eyes hadows.
Nothing interesting, aside from the cute color combos and pretty packaging. The only items (okay, 2 items) which caught my eyes immediately were Peach macaroon and Strawberry Macaroon blushes. Both not shimmery and pretty looking.
Not only that...I saw ...DOlly Wink!!!
Wooohooo...Dolly Wink is here! Another Japanese make up line. This one is heavily endorsed and ‘produced by Tsubasa Masuwaka’ (may be it means created by Tsubasa Masuwaka?). Tsubasa is cutey kawaii hugely popular Japanese model. Gaining her fame by gracing Pop Teen magazine more than a few times.
This whole line includes mascara, eyeshadow palettes and cream eye shadows. While adoring the kawaii packaging, I was sooo shocked to see the colors of the palettes...so poppy and...how can anyone pull this off outside the studio? But fear not... It was not heavily pigmented. In fact, very sheer when I swatched on my hand.
The mascara was surreally expensive for drugstore line, so I am not going anywhere near it... I love my Canmake Gokunobi and Kiss me Heroine mascara... and wont go near SGD 29.90 a pop drugstore mascara anytime soon.
Mascara aside, the cream eye shadow, comes in Gold 01 and Crystal 02, looks very pretty. The texture is not cream, more like soft jelly turning powder when applied. Do not expect any pigmentation, these stuff are pretty much clear with many random sized glitters. You hear me, glitter, not demure soft shimmer like I expected it by looking at their official website pictures. These glitters do sparkle, very pretty be it in door or under sunshine. Unless it is overcast out there, it glints and reflects light nicely. Under overcast they look flaky and not so pretty thou... was thinking to get the gold...but... may be for another time...
