Shiseido Integrate Melty Your Heart eyeshadow duo No. 1

Integrate is a brand from Shiseido. This cutie is from their 2014 fall collection called Love Sniper. In the past I loved their Pure Big Eyes palette, I am curious if I like their duo too.
http://www.shiseido.co.jp/ie/point/

Integrate offers eye shadow in gel cream texture (pink) and shade fit powder (brown) to aid the color stay put and not faded. according to their test, it lasts 10 hours! I am interested!

As usual, integrate website offers diagram to advise how to apply the shadow. Right now they offer 5 color combinations, No. 1 is limited edition.

The eyeshadow is housed in plastic tub with plastic lid over the powder shadow. both colors has satin finish with minimal shimmer. Not the most pigmented colors, but they are a pretty combination nonetheless. the pink is cooler baby pink while brown has a tinge of plum.

The pink is buttery and glides easily. Brown shade is not as powdery as I originally imagined it to be, it is rather well packed yet smooth to touch and easy to apply. it just sticks nicely when applied over the pink gel.

On my eyes, I didnt follow the Integrate diagram. I used Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner, then applied Melty Your Heart eyeshadow duo on top. I applied a bit of Make Essence Face Powder on my browbone.

well, as you can see... pigmentation is not the forte of this duo. but, it does stay put! the sheer pink and brown stays up to 9 hours on my oily lids.

Bottomline,
if you want sheer, office friendly duos with lasting power. this is suitable for you!

Etude House Princess Happy Ending Fairy Glitter Shadow in #3 Evening Party

Among Etude’s 2014 Princess Happy Ending collection, I managed to purchase Belle’s blush and Cinderella’s eye shadow so far. The collection itself revolves around four famous princesses: Cinderella, Snow White, Belle and Jasmine. Each princess have her own set which consist of various make up items.

Cinderella has 3 eyeshadows and nail polish set. I picked up #3 Evening Party, the darkest, most chocolate-y of all three.

As usual, the box is prettily designed, as is the tub top! Baby blue + pretty prints in gold… so cute! The tub itself is made of plastic, but it doesn’t feel too light/flimsy. In the beginning, it comes with curved plastic cover to protect the eyeshadow once you opened the tub.

The eyeshadow itself is of dry jelly to powder texture… if that makes sense… feels soft to touch, and it ‘bounces’ back to its shape after you press it. Therefore, I will recommend to keep the curved plastic cover, just to ensure it wont dry up too fast.

I’d describe Evening Party as medium chocolate with microglitter. Even though it has glitter in it, I do think the color is still office friendly. The swatch on the left was immediately blended once I applied it. The one on the right was single swipe with fingertip.

Pigmentation was medium... easy to use and apply with fingertips. Color comes out easily, but it still has sheer quality in it. The glitter itself is soft and not gritty. And it does pack a punch of sparkle… not discoball big huge glitter… more of tiny glitter.

Bottomline,
Love the theme and the texture of this baby. The color is sweet and office friendly.

Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color in PK 002 Strawberry Chiffon Cake

This is really a long due review... This super cute, sweet concoction belongs to Etude House's 2013 release. The Sweet Recipe collection makes me drool... No kidding! They are all candy or cake themed with pink color scheme. Who can resist that?

The Sweet Recipe collection includes highlighters, eye shadows, blushes, various lipstick and base make up. Earlier i have tried and loved the jelly lip color from the collection also.
etude.co.kr

Previously, I tried the Jelly lips talk here. Today, I picked is a creme blush packed in adorable tin shaped like pink cupcake... Yums! Etude House promotes this to be used as lip color, blush and eye shadow too! It comes in 5 delectable colors... blueberry, strawberry, cherry, mandarin and peach... how lovely...

I obviously love the tin design. Even though I dont think I can maintain the tin in tip top sparkly condition ... Tin packaging's paint tend to peel off  as time goes by... And humidity means rust is always lurking around.

That aside... I totally love the color! PK 002 is a poppy colder pink which really enlivens my face without being too neon. It is sheer, easily blended and can be layered for more intense look.

The texture is different from the currently trending creamy moussey blush... It is harder in the tin, but can be easily softened up by placing your finger on top of the product to warm a patch up with your fingertip. It will be easier then to pick up the color.Considering the texture, I am not going to try this for lip color, I just have the feeling that it will be too drying for my lips. As for eyeshadow, I dont see myself wearing the color...But I will definitely try it if I picked up the peachy color later :D

Bottomline:
Super cute theme and packaging, as expected from Etude House. It gives me a Lovely pop of pink on my cheeks. Easy to use sans shimmer formula making it my current default choice when i feel the need to boost a blah day!

Etude House Shine Stick Eye shadow in 09

I picked up another color 12 (blue based glitter pink) together with this one.

Was hoping that this color is going to be better than the pink, but unfortunately my opinions of them are the same. The only difference is the color. Link to the previous review is here

Here’s the swatch for 09 – sheer baby blue with loads of glitter

Etude House Shine Stick eyeshadow in 12

Who can say no to such pretty pink? I just grab it without swatching it first on my skin...

First of all, adore the easy to use packaging! No messy sharpening... just twist the end of the pencil and voila...ready to use!

The color itself is sheer blue based baby pink and loads of glitter. The texture is a little creamy with hint oil... this makes it easy to blend, but not comfortable for my already oily lids.

And yes...there is such thing as too much glitter. The glitter just drop easily and runs to under eyes area. The glitter is not so fine and I can feel it irritates my eyes as glitter flecks started dropping off. I don’t fancy this...

Dang...greedy me picked up two colors! I just hope the other one is better than this!

In summary...
Packaging: easy to use, twist pen style
Color variations: couldn’t remember
Staying power: runs easily, with glitter chunks started dropping and irritate my eyes
Is it worth it?
No I don’t think so... unless you can find other ways to utilize this ultra glittery product

Dolly Wink Cream Eye Shadow in Gold 01 and Crystal 02

Few days back I saw Dolly Wink line, and I was pretty interested in their cream eye shadow. This Japanese brand bring such pretty promo pictures of the model (and creator?) Tsubasa Masuwaka.
And so today, I went back the shop and consider Cream Eye Shadow in Gold and Crystal again.
Too bad the promo booklet was in Japanese and I don’t understand any of it... (these scans are from the promo booklet)

Now the swatch!

Both Gold and Crystal do not have any pigment per se. But each does pack lots and lots of chunky glitters. Gold 01 is made of various sized pale golden glitter. While Crystal 02 brings you mix of silver and rainbow colored glitter chunks in various sizes.
The texture is not creamy...more like soft jelly which turns to powder when applied. And let me warn you... the glitter chunks transfer easily. I didn’t prime my skin before swatching, but this is waaay too messy for my liking.
And finally, I decided, there is such thing as too much glitter in my eye shadow dictionary... These babies, at SGD 19.9 per piece...are a little expensive for my current budget. Aso I left the cute cream eye shadows in the pretty promo rack before rushing to the cashier to pay my other hauls...
In summary...
Packaging: kawaii plastic palette
Color offering: 2: Gold and Crystal
Price: SGD 19.9

Is it worth it?
Yes if... you need more rainbow colored or pale gold colored glitter in your life, you love the kawaii packaging, you adore Tsubasa very very much and willing to fork out SGD 19.9
No if... you don’t fancy your glitter transferring everywhere, you want more sensibly priced eye shadow, you prefer more demure powder eyeshadow
